Christopher M. Russo is a member of the Civil Litigation Practice Group at Gordon, Muir & Foley, LLP. Chris practices in the areas of general tort liability, including product liability litigation, legal and professional malpractice claims, workers' compensation claims, and tax matters. As a member of the federal tax bar, Chris also practices in the areas of taxpayer representation and litigation. He earned a Certificate in Tax Studies from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and is an alumnus of the University of Connecticut School of Law's Tax Clinic, where he counseled and represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. Chris is also active in the legal community. He has served as a judge for the Connecticut High School Mock Trial Program, and has coached mock trial teams for the University of Connecticut School of Law. Chris continues to assist the University of Connecticut School of Law's Tax Clinic on a pro bono basis, and has also served as a tax preparer for VITA, the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, where he prepared Federal and State income tax returns on behalf of low income tax payers.
