John J. Reid has been practicing with Gordon, Muir and Foley, LLP for over 30 years, handling legal matters involving the construction industry. He currently leads the firm's representation of the University of Connecticut UCONN 2000 construction program where he has participated in bidding, contract drafting of various delivery forms and dispute resolution.
With vast experience in the construction industry, Jack routinely represents owners, prime contractors and major subcontractors in a wide variety of issues, not only the prosecution or defense of claims, but in the counseling of dispute avoidance.
Jack is a former Chairman and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Construction Law Section. He served as the Chairman and as a member of the Executive Board of the Construction Institute, an industry wide organization based in Connecticut and is currently a member of its Board of Directors.
