Katherine L. Matthews is a member of the firm's Construction Law Practice Group.  She represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and homeowners in construction and constuction litigation matters. 

Prior to joining GM&F, Katherine worked as a litigation associate in a small firm setting, with a diverse general litigation practice.  She has represented clients in matters pertaining to construction law, family law, immigration, small claims, minor criminal matters, personal injury, probate, and trusts and estates. 

Katherine practices in both state and federal courts.  She has trial experience in state courts and has represented clients in political asylum hearings before the U.S. Immigration Court .  Katherine has authored numerous briefs and memoranda to trial courts and the Connecticut Appellate Court, Connecticut Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, and Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
