Laurann Asklof has practiced in the area of construction litigation and construction law since 1994. She provides legal representation in construction law matters, representing owners (including the University of Connecticut ), contractors and subcontractors. Prior to joining GM&F, Laurann was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Connecticut as a construction litigator, involved in multi-million dollar construction cases. In 1998 and 1999, Laurann was an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut Law School instructing students in the art of appellate writing and oral argument concluding with a mock appellate brief and argument. Prior to 1994 Laurann represented both plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of civil litigation including personal injury, commercial, construction, product liability and malpractice actions.
