Philip J. O'Connor has been a trial attorney since 1979. His fields of practice include products liability, toxic substance litigation, professional malpractice, municipal litigation, general negligence, insurance coverage and appeals. He has published several articles on products liability and represents manufacturers in complex litigation involving drugs and medical devices, silicone breast implants, computers, industrial chemicals, asbestos, and consumer products.
He has served as President and Chairman of the Board of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association. Formerly on the staff of the Connecticut General Assembly's Judiciary Committee and Office of Legislative Research, Phil has served as Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association.
