Robert J. O'Brien has been with the firm since 1979 with construction, fidelity and surety and specialized banking litigation as his primary practice areas. He handles a broad range of construction-related matters involving contractors, owners, subcontractors, sureties, architects, engineers and condominium associations. Bob's banking litigation relates to check fraud liability matters under the Uniform Commercial Code. He regularly appears in courts and before arbitration panels. Bob is a member of the Executive Committee of the Construction Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and the ABA Forum of the Construction Industry. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders & Contractors of Connecticut, the Program Committee of the Construction Institute and the Planning & Zoning Commission of the Town of Avon, Connecticut.
